BayTex Energy Trust- (BTE)-engages in the exploitation, acquisition, development, and production of oil and natural gas in Canada. As of December 31, 2007, Baytex Energy Trust had net proved and probable reserves of 12,564.4 thousand barrels of light and medium oil; 105,782.7 thousand barrels of heavy oil; 122.0 billion cubic feet of natural gas; and 4,281.6 thousand barrels of natural gas liquids. The company was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada. As a Trust, capital gains may be accounted for differently, so please consult with a tax advisor.
