Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY)- another pharmaceutical that has had issues the last few years with a thinning drug pipeline, but the yield is attractive. Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMS) engages in the discovery, development, licensing, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, and sale of pharmaceuticals, and related health care products worldwide. Some of it's pharmaceuticals brands include Plavix, Pravacol, Coudamin, and Monopril; virology products comprising Reyataz, Sustiva, Zerit, and Baraclude; oncology products comprising Erbitux, Taxol, and Sprycel; affective and other psychiatric disorder products, such as Abilify and Emsam; immunoscience products comprising Orencia; other infectious diseases products comprising Cefzil; and other pharmaceutical products that primarily include Efferalagan. The company's Nutritionals segment manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells infant formulas and other nutritional products comprising Enfamil products that contain nutrients, such as docosahexaenoic and arachidonic acids. The company was founded in 1887. It was formerly known as Bristol-Myers Company and changed its name to Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in 1989.
