In addition, it provides value-added services, such as 1-900 calling, call forwarding, voice mail, caller ID, call waiting, and directory inquiry voice service, as well as advertising on public telephone cards. The company was founded in 1998. It was formerly known as Tele Centro Sul Participacoes S.A. and changed its name to Brasil Telecom Participacoes S.A. in 2000. The company is based in Brasilia, Brazil.
