Before diving into this week’s letter, I want to provide a shout out related to the engagement of our readership. (Somewhat) intentionally I took an opinionated stance on how to interpret some data related to teens in the summer work force last week. To my delight, we received a lot of feedback from our readership regarding some of the other angles I missed; some varying opinions included ideas about how some teens have an opportunity to volunteer, travel or participate in sports at a rate perhaps not possible in the past. While I’ll save the tete-a-tete on the issue for direct email, I want to reiterate how excited I was by the involvement from our community. Thank you.
This week, I want to kick-off a multi-part series focused on some of the stocks featured in our behind-the-scenes watch lists. These are candidates we track that may — or may not — one day make their way on to the Best Dividend Stocks list.
