The long, sweet summer for dividend investors may be turning into autumn.

Don’t get me wrong; a dividend focus still makes the most sense for investors seeking value, income and stability, in addition to the possibility of capital gains. My point is that many signs lead to the likelihood that dividend investors will have a tougher go of it over the next year or two than they’ve had in previous years.
