There are a handful of big decisions retirees need to make when stepping off in their golden years. Questions about health care, income, and working post-retirement are few of the challenges and issues that all retirees will face. Perhaps the biggest question retirees need to ask themselves is just where are they going to live?
And that debate can be summed up in a very simple question – Do I rent or own my house during retirement?
But that simple question doesn’t have such a simple answer. Traditionally, the thought process has been to stay put as long as possible. But that might not be the best solution for every investor.
