One of the best-known axioms about investing could be “Price is what you pay, value is what you get.” Right now, equities in Europe could be a prime example of adage. For stocks in the U.S., a lot of the recovery has already been baked into the market. We’ve been talking about post-pandemic plays for months and many investors had already shifted back into cyclicals and reopening stocks long before the pandemic began to subside.
Europe, however, is just now starting to see its economies recover from the pandemic. And in that, many stocks within the region are cheap and offer much larger dividend yields than their U.S. counterparts.
It’s not that U.S. equities can expand further. Right now, some of the best deals on dividend stocks could be found overseas.
